To round up a busy week, it is great to see such super coverage by Alison McGuire in Irish Tech News of the Bridge Network Invention of the Year Winners.

We were delighted to be involved in the judging and sponsorship of this event, for what will be our 10th year doing so. As our own Michael Lucey commented on the night, “The quality of the research and innovation is truly world class and definitely puts Ireland on the path of becoming a leading knowledge-based economy.”

The Bridge Network is a fantastic collaboration initiative that comprises of Tech Transfer offices from University College Cork, Teagasc, Cork Institute of Technology and Institute of Technology, Tralee. Collaboration is a key driver in the development of Ireland’s knowledge transfer system, supporting innovators and entrepreneurs and ultimately creating jobs for the economy.
